Global Immigration Services Terms and Conditions
Global Immigration Services provides Australian visa services and Australian immigration law advice subject to the following terms and conditions:
Free Assessment
Global Immigration Services will conduct a free assessment based on information you provide to us. This assessment is generic to provide you with a guideline only. This does not guarantee the success or otherwise of any application you then may undertake. Global Immigration Services need to conduct a more detailed assessment to provide you with specific advice about your situation. As the Australian Immigration laws are subject to regular change, any advice or assessment provided is limited to the day of assessment only.
Initial Consultation
We charge a fee for this service and provide you with a comprehensive, personalised assessment of your situation and provide you with the best method of migration or the best pathway for this in the future. You need to provide us with accurate information about yourself and provide us with as much information as possible. Once you pay for this consultation you are deemed to be a client of Global Immigration Services for the purpose of this consultation. However, as the Australian Immigration laws are subject to regular change, any advice or assessment provided is limited to the day of assessment only.
Visa Application Service
Global Immigration Services provides a comprehensive visa management service to provide you with your best chance of success. Each visa application attracts a different professional and DIAC filing fee. You will be notified of these fees prior to commencement of the service and you will be required to sign a Confirmation of Fees which details the costs and services provided. You will need to provide accurate and detailed information for the purposes of the visa application. As the Australian Immigration laws are subject to regular change, you will be notified of any law or policy changes prior to lodging your application or during the processing of your application. Some law and policy changes apply retrospectively and may affect your application. Some law and policy changes may affect your forthcoming application. Global Immigration Services has no control over the changes implemented by the Australian government. If at the time, these changes are made, the work has been carried out in full by Global Immigration Services in good faith, no refund of your professional fees will be available to you. If the work has been carried out in part, then an hourly rate will be applied to the work conducted.
Members Log-in
If you have a member’s log-in, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Personal profile and password.
As a company, you will need to provide Global Immigration Services with a list of company employees who are entitled to access this area.
Global Immigration Services will not be held responsible for any access gained by third parties to your Personal/Company profile whether the login details were provided by you or were otherwise obtained.
Migration Advice Professional Document
In accordance with DIAC Regulations, you are required to read Migration Advice Professional Document. Please ensure that you do so.
Government Regulations
Australian Immigration law is subject to frequent changes. These changes may suddenly affect your application either prior to lodging, during preparation or after lodgment. Most legal changes are not retrospective but some are. Policy can be retrospective in its affect. The law can change but the text relating to these changes are not publicly available at the date of change. Global Immigration Services can, to the best of its ability, notify you of the changes but may not be able to explain the full effect of these changes until the government has published either the law or the policy.
Global Immigration Services will notify you at the earliest possible date of any changes which may affect your application. We will provide you with your best chance of success in relation to your application but this in no way guarantees that your application will be approved.
Information you provide
Global Immigration Services will use and rely on information you provide to us. You will need to provide accurate information. Global Immigration Services will not independently verify your information and will assume this information to be true and correct. If Global Immigration Services discovers that the information provided is not true and correct or has been fraudulently obtained, Global Immigration Services has the right to terminate the contract with the client (you) immediately.
If you provide any information relating to a third party who is part of your visa application, it is assumed by Global Immigration Services that you have the authority to provide such information.
Code Of Conduct
To provide advice or assist with any Australian Immigration law application, a person must be registered (Migration Act 1958) with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority and abide by the Code of Conduct. If there is a dispute which cannot be resolved between us, you are entitled to refer the matter to MARA in Australia.
Governing Law
The validity, interpretation and performance of the agreement and contract between you (the client) and Global Immigration Services shall be governed by the laws of Victoria Australia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and courts competent to hear appeals there from.
